It was an unpleasant day for singer, Adekunle Gold yesterday as he performed his rite at his father’s burial in Lagos.

The news of Adekunle Gold’s father’s demise circulated social media earlier this week which made Adekunle lose every atom of enthusiasm.

The singer and husband to Simi was however consoled with words sent across to him on social media by fellow celebrity entertainers.

The final burial rites was done in Lagos yesterday and it wasn’t in no way the best of moment for the “Ire” singer as he was seen struggling to find composure when it was time for him to perform his own rite.

Adekunle was seen fighting back the tears that were excitedly willing to roll down the singer’s cheek.
